Famous black Friday 3

While the term "Black Friday" can often be used to describe any Friday the 13th, there are also many things in history which occurred on Friday, which later became known as "Black Friday." Some of the events are then received by the flooding include name, fierce fire, and even riots. Here are some of the "Black Friday" that the world will not forget.

Flood Friday
On May 31, 1889, one of the worst and most famous flood in the history of the case, known as the Johnstown flood. The flooding occurred in Johnstown, Pennsylvania, and actually caused by a dam that gave way. Flooding is really killing more than 2,000 people and cities devastated by floods. It was at this point in time that the Red Cross, led by nurse Clara Barton, actually respond to a disaster of the first and offer help and assistance to hurting people. While it is a dark day, the Red Cross was born in a disaster relief organization like no other.

Friday Fire
Another "Black Friday" that many people will never forget occurred on January 13, 1939. On this day, a forest fire broke out in the country of Australia, and to this day they are still known as the worst natural fire that never happened. Nearly 5 million hectares burned by this fire and 72 people were killed as well. This fire is devastating, and the ecological and economic impact lasts for decades after the fire was extinguished.

Friday battle
February 9, 1945 brought another "Black Friday," which consists of fierce air battles of the second world war between Germany and Britain. This air battle takes place in Norway. During this famous aerial combat, there are actually 15 aircraft were shot down and 24 people died during this battle. Some have forgotten the courage shown today.
